To mark the day, UGM staff, residents and volunteers are joining together to clean up downtown Spokane, reach out to businesses affected by homelessness and wave signs promoting the dignity of each individual.

The UGM Student Impact Center is hosting an awareness event for young adults, ages 18-24 only. Bring your sleeping bag and sleep outside (no tents), learn about the homeless situation in Spokane, and make a stand to end it. Enjoy music, food and stories. Come for part of the night or the whole 12 hours. Bring canned food or warm clothing donations for teens. UGM Auxiliary representatives help to bring the cause of homelessness and the work of the Union Gospel Mission before their churches. They also sponsor a wide variety of projects across UGM ministries.
